About

Hi, I am Teresa.  I want to tell you a bit about myself and why you might want to read my blog.  I live in the south of England right now, in a little village called Handcross.  My husband, Howard, is from Surrey .....just north of us.  I have a son, JohnLuke who will be 16 in October and a little girl, Georgina who will be 12 in December.
My family!

We have lived all over the world.  I left the States in 1994 to go to Eastern Europe with a mission called Grace Ministries from Atlanta, Georgia; the first international team.  I met my husband in Romania at a Christian concert with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).  We were married a year later and lived in Budapest, Hungary for a little over 8 years.  My son was born during this time in England.

In 2002, we moved to Costa Rica, Central America.  My daughter was born in December of this year, but she came to live with us November 2006; a true gift from God.  We lived in CR for 8 years and have now been in England for 4.

We have worked with Discipleship Training Schools with YWAM the entire time we have been with the mission.  These schools are truly a gift God gave to YWAM to provide a place for people to encounter God and then to participate with Him in His mission in this world.  I would love to tell you more about these schools if you would like to know .....contact me!

I have a background in nursing, psychology, counselling and coaching.  I also spent 10 years as a flight attendant with a national and then international airline.  Loved it!!

You might think I could not figure out what I wanted to do, but this is not true.  As I look back at my life, I believe all I have done has prepare me to do what I want to do right now.  Which is to write about my life, my journey with God and my prayer is it can create space for you to encounter God and participate with Him in His mission on this earth.  He creates us all with gifts, talents; He designed us with a purpose and He has something for us to do with HIM.

My husband!
I absolutely love to sit with people, have coffee and listen to their stories; see where they are with God and what He might want to speak or do.  I also love to write and my purpose with this blog is to initiate conversations that will make you think, possibly inspire you to turn to the One who created you and see what He is saying.  With stories of my own life, or the lives of those I have met and known, I hope as you read them, it will create space for you to encounter God; to think about Him, yourself, others and this world.

My 2 great children - JohnLuke and Georgina!

Robbie!  The cutest dog ever!
